Abstract:

These factors play important roles in the physical development of the morphology of the city, including topography and the geomorphologic destructions. The goal of study is to find the natural LIMITATIONS and to suggest the suitable spots in order to develop the physical width of Paveh. The research spot includes the Paveh district plus a further one thousand meter areas within the vicinity of the township based on the information collected in 2005. The study is to examine the physical LIMITATIONS of Paveh across 50 years where the two periods included were 1955 to 1992 and 1992 to 2005. After providing the topographic layers data (steep, the direction, and the height), geomorphologic layers (crack, spring, and water threshold), the AHP models and GIS Microsoft were used to show the physical development in the different careers relating to GEOMORPHOLOGY and topography. The results show that the physical development of city has not been suitable in the geomorphologic, topographic destructions and the city is endangered by environment. Furthermore, the study is to find the physical development of the city in the light of the previous careers by the predicted process. It is also compared with AHP scientific method and the most suitable spot is expected in the affective factors (layers).

Abstract:

Introduction: One of the most important issues in development of any scientific discipline including GEOMORPHOLOGY is introduction of new viewpoints and special conceptualization. Introduction of relativism in philosophy, language and sociology has brought about deep evolutions in the epistemology of the research methodology in these sciences. Although this viewpoint was already introduced in GEOMORPHOLOGY by the American scientist G. K. Gilbert one hundred and thirty years ago, temporal conditions did not let the development and understanding of the conceptions for others. Recognition of Gilbert’ s views and its comparison with relativism concepts in this age can familiarize us with Gilbert’ s thought and the evolutions it made in relativism concept. Besides, it can prevent us from considering Gilbert’ s relativism to be in parallel with many concepts introduced by others.....

Abstract:

Change in the paradigms of a knowledge domain is considered the beginning of evolution in the literature, methodology, techniques and other cognitive components. Similarly, when the systematic approach replaced the classical methods, profound changes occurred in the empirical sciences, it was not until recently that humanities scientists lost opportunities which were analytically compensated by the critique of experimental sciences with the design of space geometry. In the meantime, Dilthey efforts to show the position of humanity and the discovery of a thousand secret mysteries in phenomenology by Husserl, Genette and Heidegger provided a way for another paradigm to formulate, putting an end to the one-hundred-year supremacy of The Vienna Circle. This Wave Would definitely infiltrate the geosciences against all odds. This focuses on the epistemic aspects of the approach, and through Genette method of text analysis, investigates the introduction of a phenomenological approach to Geography in the writings of Scientific characters, Gilbert Geomorphologist and thinker Hiller in space placement. phenomenology supplies a criticism on the history of contemporary of theoretical views in GEOMORPHOLOGY the purpose to clarify the intellectual differences in the field of phenomenology. The results surveys show that: *Phenomenology tries to expand the scope of human experience beyond the definition of experience in the Vienna aspects of phenomena and the role of humans in their discovery and this does not employ the negation or invalidity of positivism. *phenomenology in GEOMORPHOLOGY in contrast to phenomenology will be a more favorable guarantee of human experience about the world.

Abstract:

Several methods have been offered to explain the uneven change patterns in the form of developmental investigations as well as studies of geomorphologic processes and systematic literature probes. One of these methods entails the creation of a mathematical model based on analytic extrapolations and numerical simulations, while another is modeling physical landscape changes, using reality display hard wares on a small scale (Massly and Zimpfer, 1976). A third approach is based on the assumption that creating the revolutionary patterns of a geomorphic landscape can be reconstructed by analyzing the phenomenal procedure present on the site, and therefore the difficulties of time could be eliminated by developmental changes. Accordingly, it is believed that if one landscape elapses its revolution creation in six stages, it is not necessary to observe and record the analysis from the start to the end, but in every stage of creation, the index form in the change scene is created as a prevailing phenomenon in which such forms are not destroyed in successive stages and few remain in the landscape. Now, if in the final stage of geomorphic landscape we witness several forms, which do not create the prevailing form but which exist in the scene, then each of the remaining forms can be separated and shown.

Abstract:

Advancing noval perpectives within the field of epistemology and human knowledge has invariablely led to the emergence of new horizons, which, in some cases, have not only augmented our ability to solve the problems confionting human beings, but have also enabled us to look at them from a different angle. As a result, some of these problems have changed concurrently with the replacement of old paradigms with new ones. By the same token, techniques of analysis, research methods and evaluation criteria have undergone substantial modification. Among the perspectives whose introduction into geography and the related sciences has brought about radical changes in problem identification, modes of analysis, research methodology and the relevant literature is spatial perspective. In this connection, GEOMORPHOLOGY, as a sub-category of geographical sciences, has not been an exception to this rule.It goes without saying that familiarizing ourselves with the development of spatial perspective and its adoption in GEOMORPHOLOGY can help us to get a better understanding of the concept in question. To achive this, we proceeded to select four outstanding geomorphologists and two geographers with a view of analyzing their writings on the concept of space, and thus tracing its evolution and formulation in the domain of GEOMORPHOLOGY.The results of this research demonstrate that the concept of space was first introduced explicitly into GEOMORPHOLOGY through the writings of Gilbert (1886), who used the term "Plexus" for the purpose. Ironically enough, Gilbert was not familiar with this concept in the form that was formulated later on.

Abstract:

Introduction:Some of phenomena have certain relationships which cannot be raised as correlation, but they considered as duality. Concept of duality is regarded when a phenomenon with another phenomenon is dual. Although each of these phenomena are independent in nature, there is a relationship between them. So, we will analyze the behavior of phenomena in relation to other phenomena.

Abstract:

The past three dicades can be considered as a period in which the fundamentals of scientific epistemology have been subjected to drastic revision. The dissemination of the general theory of systems in 1972, one year after the death of ludwing von Berthalanfi, the proposition of fuzzy logic by Zade, and the formulation of chaos theory in 1986 by Harison and Biswas all served to explode the myth that scientific thought was invulnerable. It is beyond dispute that the finalist and the dispensableness of causality characteristic of systems theory, the rejection by fuzzy logicians of scientific logic as a means of accounting for many multi-valued phenomena, and the nonconformity of a large number of events and modes of behaviour to scientific order in Chaos theory revealed one of the incontestable facts of our world: the inadequacy of scientific epistomology to analyse the behaviour and mechanism of certain phenomena. The endeavours made by researchers in scientific epistomology to endous events with systematicity have been predominantly geared towords gratifying the frenzy of predicting events and modes of behaviour. And this is exactly where chaos comes into the picture. For it points out the fact that, although such attempts have been fruitful in many cases, yet, not all events and modes of behaviour can be said to conform to scientific order, and that despite their predictability, linear predictions could hardly be regarded as a suitable solution in such cases. The concept of Chaos within GEOMORPHOLOGY is primarily concerned with a systemic point of view and falls into the category of disequilibrium. And in the analyisis of many events and phenomena if this kind we wont be able to understand or explicate their underlying mechanisms without resorting to non-linear techiques, especially on a long time scale. This paper, which has resulted from the theoretical investigation of project based on the paraglicial sediment and glacial evidence on the Zagros-pishkoh to explain the elements of chaos theory and their compatibilitywith GEOMORPHOLOGY.
